Migration from W25QxxDV/FV Series to W25QxxJV Series
Introduction
本ドキュメントは、W25QxxDV/FV シリーズからW25QxxJV シリーズのシリアルフラッシュメモリーへの置き換えについて記述するものです。
Difference between IG/ IF/ IM & IQ Device
IQ デバイスは、下記に示しますStatus Register-2 のQE (Quad Enable) bit を工場出荷時QE=1 に設定されている製品になります。 従いまして、 /HOLD pin は I/O 端子となり無効となります。 シリアルフラッシュメモリーの端子配列は下記となります（8-pin SOIC の場合）。

Note: /HOLD= Hold Input
なお、QE bit がEnable となっていてもSingle/Dual のコマンドは受け付けますので、IG 品同様に使用する事が可能です。 但し、/HOLD 機能をご使用の場合はIG/IM 品となりますのでWinbond へご相談願います。本ビットは、ユーザーにて変更 (QE=0) する事は出来ません。
注）/WP & /HOLD 端子処理をVCC 直結していても問題はありませんが、予想外のQuad mode コマンドが入力されるとVCC とショート(“0”データ出力) の可能性がありますのでご注意をお願いします。
How to decide IQ or IM part for JV series?
下記に示しますようにマイグレーション（若しくは新規）の場合、DTR/QPI/HOLD/CRM (Note)機能を使用（若しくは必要）しているかどうかを確認願います。
【Yes の場合】
W25QxxJV-IM を推奨（注意：Device ID チェックを行っている場合、New ID となりますので SW の対応が必要となります。 New ID については、各データシートにてご確認願います。）
【No の場合】
W25QxxJV-IQ を推奨（/HOLD & /WP 端子処理については、Page 1 の注を参照願います。）
Note:
．DTR: Double Transfer Rate（JV シリーズで新規にサポートされた機能）
．QPI: Quad Peripheral Interface (Command Input もx4 bit 入力となります)。 なおSPI Quad (command Input はx1 入力となります)とは異なります。
．/HOLD, /WP: Hold 及びWrite Protect 機能
．CRM: Continuous Read Mode
