Introduction
The NuMicro® M031SG6AE developed by Nuvoton is a low-voltage operation microcontroller based on Arm® Cortex®-M0 core furnished with 32-bit hardware multiplier/divider. It is designed to function at a frequency of up to 72 MHz within an operating voltage range of 1.8V to 3.6V.
Function & Applications
The M031SG6AE is developed to address the needs of applications that need a 1.8V low-voltage interface. Its design includes a fast 2 MSPS ADC, a 144 MHz PWM, a 24 MHz SPI, and a 7.2 MHz UART. With these features, it ensures quick and precise data conversion for voltage, current, and sensor data with swift response control to external devices. The microcontroller is suitable for various industry and consumer applications such as Laser Distance Meter, Air Detector/Cleaner, Mobile LCD Panel Controller, Micro Printer and WPC Wireless Charger.
Performance Parameters
The microcontroller operates within a temperature range of -40℃ to +105℃. It is made robust with an EFT level of 4.4 kV and an ESD HBM level of 5 kV. It offers a 256 KB Flash, 32 KB SRAM, and 4 KB Flash for the user program loader. The microcontroller's clock features include an internal 48 MHz HIRC oscillator with variation± 2% within the full temperature range and a PLL that can go up to 144 MHz.

The M031SG6AE comes in LQFP64 7 x 7 mm package. It includes two sets of USCI interfaces that supports UART , SPI and I2C mode. Moreover, it is equipped with six sets of 7.2 MHz UART, one set of Q SPI interface, one set of 24 MHz SPI /I2S interface, two sets of 1 MHz I2C interface and one External Bus Interface (EBI).
