Introduction:
The NuMicro™ NUC240 Connectivity Line is a product under the NUC140/240 Connectivity Series developed by Nuvoton, a renowned manufacturer of semiconductors. These series are cutting-edge 32-bit microcontrollers integrated with the prominent ARM® Cortex™-M0 core. The robust structure of the microcontroller allows it to perform complex processing tasks equivalent to traditional 8-bit MCU and more, effectively making them the first choice for applications demanding industrial control, as well as those requiring rich communication interfaces.

Function & Applications:
The NUC240 microcontroller provides boundless connectivity options with the inbuilt USB 2.0 full-speed and Controller Area Network (CAN) functions. Coupled with an extensive range of peripheral devices, including Timers, Watchdog Timer, Window Watchdog Timer, RTC, PDMA, UART, SPI, I2C, and much more, this line of microcontrollers is hugely versatile. Used extensively in the automotive industry, security/alarm systems, temperature sensors, and communication systems, its versatile functionality and high performance makes it adaptable to cater a wide spectrum of applications.

Performance Parameters:
Powered by the Cortex™-M0 core, the NUC240 can efficiently operate at a maximum frequency of 72 MHz. It has a robust memory with 128KB of flash memory, 16KB of SRAM, and an ISP loader ROM. The ADC with 12-bit resolution and up to 800kSPS and PWM with period/duty trigger ADC function provide a higher level of precision and control. The NUC240 operates at a voltage of 2.5V to 5.5V and temperature range of -40℃ to 105℃.
