Nu-Link3-Pro debugger/programmer not only fully inherits all the powerful features of Nu-Link2-Pro—including SWD debugging, ICP/ISP programming, drag-and-drop programming, multi-voltage support (1.8V, 2.5V, 3.3V, and 5.0V), and Virtual COM port—but also achieves a comprehensive evolution in hardware specifications, communication protocol support, logic analysis integration, and automation development flexibility. It is a core tool for next-generation developers to handle complex embedded systems.

Hardware Specification Upgrade

Nu-Link3-Pro has fully transitioned to the modern USB Type-C interface, significantly enhancing connection stability. In terms of debugging performance, specifically for the NuMicro® series microcontrollers, its ETM (Embedded Trace Macrocell) real-time instruction trace frequency has been increased to 110 MHz. This allows developers to more accurately capture system behavior in high-frequency applications, greatly optimizing debugging efficiency for real-time systems.

Support for Next-Generation Communication Protocols

As a powerful USB-to-multi-protocol bridge, Nu-Link3-Pro supports traditional SPI, I²C, UART, and RS-485 interfaces, while newly adding support for I3C and CAN FD interfaces. This meets the development requirements for large data frames in automotive and industrial applications.

Built-in Logic Analysis and Signal Decoding

By combining the PulseView logic analyzer with the sigrok open-source framework, Nu-Link3-Pro enables developers to perform digital signal capture and multi-protocol decoding without purchasing additional hardware. Debugging, programming, and signal verification can be completed on a single platform, maximizing the reduction in hardware verification and debugging time.

Flexible Automated Programming and Customized Logic

Regarding programming, in addition to supporting the original computer-linked programming and button-triggered offline programming, Nu-Link3-Pro features built-in support for MicroPython. Without modifying the firmware, developers only need to save a customized MAIN.PY script to a Micro SD card to achieve fully customized automated offline programming logic, easily integrating with complex automated test equipment (ATE) or specialized mass production environments.
